  High Frequency Words We will be working on spelling the First 300 High Frequency words with a spelling test each Friday. During the week please practice reading, writing and nicely printing these words. The words this week are:  Shadow Art - To finish up our unit on energy we made shadow art - We drew our bodies and then traced the outline onto the orange paper.  - We colored in the traced outline completely black to represent the shadow.  - Then we glued the figure onto the paper, placing it in front the black one so it looked like there was a shadow behind it. Phonics: EA and A - We have learned that the vowel team EA can make the short e sound like in head - We also learned that the letter a can make a short o sound.
