- Earth is the third planet from the sun - the perfect distance for life
- As the Earth revolves around the sun on a tilt it is closer and farther away from the sun creating the seasons that happen in a 365 day year
- As the Earth revolves it is also rotating on an axis spinning to face towards and away from the sun - creating a 24 hour day/night cycle

Landforms
