Consequences
-This week we have been talking about consequences
-Consequences are the good and bad things that happen because of something that you do
-Pretend that you need to tell someone else how to handle it when they get in trouble
-What would you tell them to do or not to do?

Phonics:
-The Graphemes EW, EU, and UE spell /yu/ ; OU spells /u/
-OU is another way to spell /u/. We know OU spells /ow/ as in shout. Sometimes, OU can also spell /u/ as in soup and group

High Frequency Words
We will be working on spelling the First 300 High Frequency words with a spelling test each Friday. During the week please practice reading, writing and nicely printing these words. The words this week are:

-Please continue to review these strategies with your child

Offspring
- In Science we learned about offspring: the young of a person, plant or animal
- Some offspring closely resemble their parents, others go through lots of changes before reaching adulthood
Little Red Riding Hood
- We read the story Little Red Riding Hood and took notes about the story features: characters, setting, problem and solution
- We then read the story Lon Po Po, which is a version of Little Red Riding Hood set in China.
- We compared the two stories using a venn diagram
