-Then we use words or phrases to describe that word
-We chose to write about summer ideas
-Afterwards, we practice memorizing our poem and recited it in front of the class!
Time- How can duration support interpretation of time?
-We learned that the amount of time something takes from beginning to end is called duration
-We practiced timing different activities using a variety of different ways to measure time (sand timer, a clap, a count, a stomp of a foot or saying the alphabet)
Bird Observations
-We went outside and did some bird watching
-We looked for birds in the sky, in a tree and on the ground. We also looked for field clues: beak shape, feather colours, size and foot type
